Infinity Scarf

Here is darling granddaughter modeling the newest scarf off the needles. I made a dark gray one first and then found the pretty pink yarn and decided to make another one. They are so quick and easy!!
Less than a skein of yarn, 10 1/2 needles. You cast on 21 stitches and knit each row until it is 44" long. Bind off and sew the ends together. It looks really great just wrapped once instead of twice as you see here.
Will add pictures of the gray one and the fabrics I have washed up to make some wonderful winter skirts out of. I realized I had none!!!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!!!

  1. She's a doll and pretty in pink! :)

  2. What a darling model! and a pretty piece to model, too!

Thanks for the gb advice - that's been working so far... Can't imagine what you must have thought being postpartum!

  3. Hi!
Thanks so very, very much for the positive comment on my recent art quilt. It's lovely to hear from someone who lives close by! Please come....and bring the grandkids.... to Vista Lights, Thursday, November 18th. I'll be at River Runner, the kayak and canoe shop, doing a public art project called "LOOKING FOR A MATE". Everyone is invited to bring their "mateless" socks for an art quilt using the recycled felt that I get from River Runner. (Believe it or not, there's a company that ship these vessels to distributors wrapped in giant acrylic felt bags! Guy, the River Runner owner, has been recycling them by giving them to me for my artwork. All my "In Box" pieces are now made on this recycled felt and all my Grave Rubbing Art Quilts have the felt in place of traditional "batting". Anyway, please come and bring your mateless socks. It will be fun....and an excellent way to inform the public about fiber arts!

  4. love the scarf, did you have any problems with the sides curling in? Everytime I try to make a scarf I have trouble with the sides curling in.

Glad you stopped by! Talk to me!!
