Minkee Throw

Here is the picture of the Minkee throw that has been in the studio for so many years that I can't remember where I bought it, except that it was at a show and I spent way too much money on it!! LOL This is one of my goals for the year and I intend to get it done!

As I said yesterday I started to cut the fabric, 5"x10" blocks. This pictures shows you the yummy colors and a hint of the fabric texture. I have never sewn with this fabric before and hope it is not too much of a challenge for me. I have cut all the blocks and hope to begin sewing tomorrow afternoon when I have time to myself.

This last picture is the last of the fabrics that go into the throw. The dark purple is for the backing and the others appear to be corner pieces. I am hoping that it turns out close to the picture, but if not it will still be sweet and soft, and how can it not be beautiful with these colors???
